Computer PSU Form Factors

All our HTPC Cases support ATX PSU Form Factor; when choosing PSU, see below form factors choices.
ATX PS/2

So called the “standard ATX PSU”
Standard dimension: 150mm (W) x 86mm (H) x 140mm (D)
PSU with depth longer than 140mm (with 140mm PSU fan) can still be considered as an ATX PS/2 model; but, it may has interference issue with HTPC 7000B; HTPC 1800B
and HTPC 2800B short depth HTPC Case Series, chance is very weir though, we recommend modulized PSU in this case.

ATX PS/3

This form factor is compatible with ATX PS/2, the only difference is the shorter depth. Many have also called this the “Micro ATX” PSU form factor, which is incorrect as no such standard exists for power supplies.
Standard dimension for this form factor is: 150mm (W) x 86mm (H) x 100mm (D)
The depth for this form factor may vary from 100mm up to 139mm

Note: All our HTPC cases don't support blow PSU Form Factors:

  • SFX (so called Micro ATX)

  • Flex ATX

  • TFX

  • PS/2 Mini Redundant

Optical Drive

All our HTPC Cases support standard Optical Drive; when choosing external optical drive, see below explanation.

Long optical drive may has interference issue with HTPC 7000B; HTPC 1800B short depth HTPC Case Series. Please select short optical drive if possible to give more rooms for cable connections.
